We are a volunteer nonprofit organization providing sport recreation training and competition to athletes with intellectual disabilities in the Capital Region.Over 200 athletes participate in 15 programs Every day we see the dramatic impact that Special Olympics has on everyone involved athletes volunteers coaches family members and the community.Athletes pay a minimal fee to participate in the sport The remaining cost of running the programs is covered by local and provincial fundraising activities.
