Doha, Qatar January 20 2004 The Doha Asian Games organising Committee is holding a press conference today to launch the official logo, of the 15th Asian Games hosted in Doha in 2006.The development of the logo is part of the brand, image and look program. It has been tweaked and modified using colours specifically particular to Qatar. The colour blue in the new image is named Doha blue representing the waters of the Arabian Gulf. The yellow replicates that of the sand dunes in the Qatari desert and is called Doha Yellow. The red sun represents the evershining sun of Asia.
